A lot of car insurance companies cater for women-only vehicle cover in England. Are they really cheaper than any other company though?
There are many stereotypes associated with female drivers. However, on average, ladies’ car insurance in the UK is actually far more likely to be cheaper than men’s. Statistically, men are far likelier to have car accidents than women so end up paying higher premiums. It sounds unfair but it does mean that, if you are a woman, you definitely get a better deal!

Insurers set different premiums depending on how many gadgets your vehicle has. The more basic your vehicle is, the less it will cost to have it covered by an insurance provider. Where you keep your vehicle also makes a difference to the price of your premiums. The vehicle is less likely to be damaged if it is stored inside or on the drive in front of your house.
It is worth finding out the way your vehicle cover provider views your occupation. There are jobs that are thought to be less safe than others because you have to drive more. If you are in a ‘high risk’ category it might be worth shopping around to find a company that isn’t necessarily going to target you because of your career.
